Adorable vs. Affordable: Wood & Fabric Headboard
I absolutely love this style of bed! It’s a classic mix of feminine and masculine qualities. It’s the perfect neutral backdrop to any accent pillows, but it still remains the star of the show! Recently, my sister-in-law asked me for help in order to update her master bedroom. Our tastes are so similar, so I knew I was going to love helping her pick out the accessories!
Just like me, she’s all about finding an expensive look on a budget. She showed me this amazing wood and fabric bed, the Toulouse Wood Bed by Pottery Barn. The soft look combined with the neutral bedding was perfect for her space. However, the price was $1,899.00 for a king size bed! WHAT!? That was out of the question, so I did a quick search for some similar beds and headboards. I could not believe it when I found this look a like, the Burgundy Upholstered Panel Headboard, by Wayfair! It looked so much like the Pottery Barn wood and fabric headboard and only cost $479.99 for a king! My jaw dropped when I saw the price! The Wayfair headboard does not have a footboard like the Pottery Barn bed, but it gives the exact same look and vibe for nearly a quarter of the price! It’s a steal! In the end, we decided on a different look for her headboard, because of the color of her bedroom furniture. However, I knew I still wanted to share this amazing find with you all!
If you are looking for a bed with a footboard, check out this bed below! It is practically identical!
If you are looking for more wood and fabric headboard inspiration, take a look at the options below!
We chose the first headboard in “linen” for my sister-in-law’s room. It’s not wood and fabric, but it blended better with her wooden furniture.
