Adorable vs. Affordable: Bench Seat Sofas
This is the first week of my new series called “Adorable vs. Affordable!” I did something similar several months ago, but this is different, because I’m only comparing two look-alike items to save you some money! I know that I’m always trying to find a less expensive option for something I’ve seen! I figured that I’m probably not the only person who feels this way, so I decided to share it with you all!
This week’s “Adorable vs. Affordable” item is the bench seat sofa! This type of sofa uses one long cushion as opposed to two or more seat cushions. I like the idea of the bench seat sofa, because we are always falling into the crack of our two cushions on my sofa!
“Adorable”
When I first saw the York Slope Slipcovered Sofa, I fell in love! The sloping arms are classic and stylish, but the bench seat cushion gives it a modern vibe! Depending on the fabric choice, the price ranges from $1699-$3199! There are a bajillion fabric options, as well as, size options. If you can afford the sofa, then by all means, have at it! However, we all like to save money, so keep reading for my “Affordable” option!

“Affordable”
The “Affordable” bench seat sofa is the Farlov sofa from Ikea! Depending on the fabric choice the price ranges from $699-$899 for the sofa. What a difference in price from the Pottery Barn sofa! It also comes in different sizes, such as a loveseat and chair. They offer white, beige, mustard yellow, and dark gray (it looks black) in fabric choices.
