It’s official! The leaves are starting to change!

Honestly, for me, that was the fastest summer to date! It totally flew by. I love summer and started to love it even more when I became a teacher, but my heart really belongs to fall. 🙂

Our winters feel long, and it feels like they keep getting longer and long here in New Jersey! (Don’t be mad all you northerners! I know your winters are even longer!) However, I don’t think I could live anywhere that didn’t have four seasons…fall specifically.

With the beginning of the new year, most people think about starting fresh with a clean slate, but I actually feel more like that in the fall!

Why is that!? The start of school? The start of sports? I just can’t put my finger on it.

There’s just something about the fall colors, crisp blue sky, and chilly days that warms my soul, and makes me feel a bit nostalgic.

This tree lives a few blocks from my house, and I look forward to watching it change colors every year. It’s like the sounding alarm for fall!
