Keeping your family organized is no small feat! I just installed this acrylic wall calendar for my family command center to keep track of all of our schedules. It’s not only efficient, but it’s also gorgeous! Using the wall as a place to get organized is a great way to take advantage of space!

Family Command Center: Acrylic Wall Calendar
My family command center is complete! Everybody organizes differently, so you have to figure out what works best for you, but this is what works for us! Last week I shared where we keep our paper clutter, as well as, my kids’ coats and all of our gloves and hats. (We have more gloves, hats, scarves, etc., but they stay in our basement until needed.) All I did was attach some hooks, add a basket to hold our gloves/hats, and hang a magazine file fold holder to store our papers! And of course I painted the door pink! Part 2
This week I finished my family command center by adding THIS acrylic wall calendar to my second command center area! To say that I’m obsessed is an understatement! We NEEDED a family wall calendar to have one place for all of our events, appointments, etc.! THIS wall calendar handles all of our plans for the current month. I use THESE chalk pens on the acrylic wall calendar and they work so well! They are super easy to erase, but at the same time, don’t accidentally get wiped off! Between our phone calendars, the yearly paper calendar, my planner, we have more than enough calendars. It might sound crazy, but I can’t tell you the number of times that my husband and I have said, “I TOLD you about XYZ!” Having several places to store the information makes it nearly impossible to say that we forgot about a certain event!
As a little side note, to prevent any miscommunications, my husband and I decided to have the other person initial next to an event that has been shared. That way we have proof that we told the person. I really want to say that I have a memory like an elephant, but that wouldn’t be fair since my husband can’t share his opinion on my blog. Can you see how many times we have “miscommunicated?” (insert laughing face and angry face emoji)
I had been trying to decided what kind of wall calendar to get. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a paper one for the whole year or an acrylic wall calendar that would be for a single month. As you know from above, I decided on both! However, the paper calendar is behind closed doors. While the acrylic wall calendar is on display for all to see! As well it should be, because it is a showstopper! I looked all over the internet before I found Circle and Square Decor on Etsy. I even considered making my own using my Cricut Air Explore! Below is the one I chose!
I absolutely adore this acrylic wall calendar! The gold hardware is gorgeous. The hardware also comes in matte black and silver. The text and calendar design comes in black (mine), white, navy, blush, gray, and jade. The whole piece gives a classic and fun vibe. It’s like a piece of art, not a calendar! I am not being paid to say any of this! It’s just that amazing! Make sure you check out her Etsy shop, because she has several acrylic wall calendars and chalkboard calendars as well!
