Simple Valentine’s Day Decorations
Sometimes the simplest pieces of decor can make a big impact! I’m still working on decluttering and organizing my home, but I have found that if my clutter is under control, I have more time to spend with my family or doing what I want to do! That’s enough motivation for me to keep things simple around my home when it comes to holiday decor!
My simple Valentine’s Day decorations consist of soft pinks and neutrals. I decorated a few spaces in my house this year. My mantel is super neutral this year, especially compared to last year’s Valentine’s Day mantel. You can see that HERE!

I bought the brass candlestick holders at Christmastime from the Target Threshold line. I used them on my mantel. You can check out my “Classic and Simple Christmas Mantel” to see more! I paired the candlestick holders with a wooden bead garland that I bought at Christmastime, as well as, the white hearts and tassel garland. Both garlands were found at Target. The hearts made this garland perfect for Valentine’s Day! The garland would be adorable in a kid’s room or a nursery any time of year!

Both of these items could easily be made if you had some time and patience! I made a “Wooden Bead Garland” a few months ago that was super easy to make if you would like some inspiration! My mantel is the perfect demonstration of simple Valentine’s Day decorations!

The next place I like to add some holiday decor to is my kitchen. My kitchen is primarily white, and I love how the decor pops against the space! I added a few simple touches to my kitchen this year. I found the pink tassel garland with the heart and tassel garland.

I love adding some seasonal decor to my rattan tray on my kitchen counter. The print that I used for Valentine’s Day and soon to be spring says, “Don’t go for perfection, go for better than before.” This might not sound like the perfect Valentine’s Day print, but I love its message. There’s more behind the words. To me it means, try the best you can, but don’t beat yourself up if it’s not the best you have ever done. Give yourself a break and love yourself no matter what! Ha! Apparently it says a lot to me!
If found it on the Etsy site Volume 25. They have the most amazing prints and great prices! The text is printed on canvas, so it is high quality stuff!
I mixed in some wooden “X’s and O’s” and pink and white straws to complete the look! A little bit of decor goes a long way!

Whether you decorate for Valentine’s Day or not, I hope you have a day full of feeling loved! Make sure you check out some other posts below!
