After my son’s first day of kindergarten this week my husband had to leave for a work trip. Even though my two-year-old daughter is home with me, you would think that having my son at school all day would free up some time around the house! However, I have never felt so exhausted taking care of everything! I even asked some of the other first time kindergarten moms if they feel extra tired this week, and luckily they agreed! So when my husband asked me why I needed some extra time blogging this weekend, I told him about the “kindergarten parent exhaustion phenomenon.” He didn’t quite buy it, but I did get some extra time blogging!
