My husband and I used to have a few shows that we watched together religiously…Homeland, Billions, Ray Donovan, and Game of Thrones!

Do you love those shows or is it just me? It can’t be just me.

Spending that time with my husband was fun and important! Yes, we were watching a show, but we were also commenting about it and interacting with each other.

I’m sure many of you can relate, but for a while there, I was elbow deep in sleepless nights, acid reflux issues, dairy intolerance, etc., and I had no interest in TV!

I was just trying to SURVIVE! I don’t do the newborn stage gracefully. I NEED my sleep.

I’ve missed that special Sunday night TV ritual that we used to have before my daughter was born. Just recently I’ve felt like I’ve made it through the baby fog! Yay! Yay!

So, Sunday night was the season premier of Game of Thrones and the first time that my husband and I got to sit together…

watch uninterrupted…

stay awake…

and enjoy our Sunday night TV show!

Woohoo!

My husband was surprised and pretty pumped that I was willing to (more like able to) stay up! Yes, it’s sad that I can’t stay up that late. I used to be a night owl. Now I’m not a night owl, but definitely not a morning person either.

What does that make me? Oh, a mom.

I won’t spoil anything for you if you are a fan of Game of Thrones and didn’t get to see the premier, but they grabbed my attention right from the opening scene!
