Tell me about your CASA!
We live in a historic town on the east coast, so it should be no surprise that my house is a turn of the century American Foursquare. A WHAT WHAT? Not sure what an American Foursquare is? Essentially it’s a big box. Ha. It’s a LITTLE cuter than that. I so LOVE older homes because of their character, but I so DON’T LOVE all the surprises that come with owning an older home. And we have had our fair share of surprises while fixing and updating our little house. Would I choose an older home again? ABSOLUTELY, so I’ll quit my whining. I’m still working on loving my home, because it is always a work in progress! I’m constantly changing, adding to, and rearranging things to make my house a home I love.
Tell me about your style.
My style…hmm…it’s hard to give it a name, because it’s always evolving! I love mixing the old with the new and the high end (more like medium end…Ha!) with the affordable, or better yet free! I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty and love giving old pieces new life. Sometimes I work on my own and sometimes I call in my team, because everyone needs a little help once in a while!
