Well, happy birthday to me! Yep, I’m one of those people who loves their birthdays! Probably just another pitfall of my only child syndrome.
If someone asked me what I’ve done in the past year, my initial thought is, “I had a second child.” Depending on how you look at it, I’ve accomplished a lot or a little. Well, it sure as heck feels like a lot!
As another year of my life has come and gone, I did a quick review of what I’ve accomplished this past year.
Here are a few things that came to mind: I kept my small boy human alive, grew a girl human in my belly, survived another natural birth, made it through those dark days of newborn-hood (Sure, that’s a word.), continued to keep two small humans alive, lost a couple pounds, cooked a few NEW meals (ok, cooked a few meals), tried to start an ETSY shop, taught myself how to use Photoshop, sprained my ankle a couple of times, gained a couple pounds, binge watched every season of Orange is the New Black and Ray Donovan, and started a blog! Yay!
Because of all of these amazing accomplishments (some might be a little more impressive than the others), I’ve been able to create these fun watercolor “Happy Birthday” tags for you!
I have been working at learning Photoshop, but there’s only so much time in the day to watch YouTube videos and read Pinterest tutorials. I have plenty more to learn, but I’ve been able to create some cute tags and prints using my Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop membership and the “All in One Mega Pack” by Nicky Laatz from Creative Market!
If you are not familiar with Creative Market, they are an online marketplace for all things design! They offer graphics, WordPress themes, stock photography and other digital items. And if you sign up for their emails, you can receive a variety of FREE design items every week!
Happy Birthday Gift Tags
Here are the source details that I use for my printable gift tags:
(1) Cardstock Paper
(2) Crop-A-Dile Eyelet and Snap Punch-(This is a step up from a hole puncher, and it punches through so many materials!)
(3) Grommets-(These are attached using the snap punch above and prevent the hole from ripping when tying the tag to something.)
(4) Baker’s Twine
