Easy Holiday Printable Place Cards
There’s no need to get super fancy with trying to make holiday printable place cards for your table!
We’ve all been there when we want our table to look Instagram worthy for our holiday guests, but it just seems to be lacking something. Simple printable place cards are an easy way to complete your holiday table settings, and all you need is a printer, scissors, and few other cheap accessories to pull off a classic look!
I LOVE the look of simple place cards. The ones adorned with a sprig of rosemary or eucalyptus. They don’t have any fancy design around them, and they aren’t painted with watercolors and sprinkled with gold glitter.
Ain’t nobody got time for that!
Therefore, this year, I wanted to show you four different ways you could use plain old simple holiday printable place cards from a word document or a FREE program like Canva. (Canva is a free graphic design program.) You just need to choose a font and decide which variation of printable place cards you are going to use! It’s so easy and super cheap!

I have four ways, two for fall and two for winter, to show you how to use your easy holiday printable place cards! I used white cardstock and items that I already had inside and outside of my house! Even better, people will be amazed with your handwriting…but it will be our little secret that it’s actually printable font!
Modern Elongated Printable Place Card
First up is the modern elongated printable place card. It has a modern feel with it’s oversized nature and clean straight lines. Try mixing the modern place card with something organic to make it feel more inviting! I added a sprig of evergreen from my yard and a small bow made from twine.
Ripped Edge Printable Place Card
Second is the ripped edge printable place cards or deckled edge, as it is professionally known! It gives a rustic look to your place settings! Add a natural element like a leaf for Thanksgiving or a sprig of evergreen for Christmas and you have a beautiful organic printable place card! In order to get the leaf into the place card, I used a pin to make two small holes and then pushed the stem through.
Simple Wreath Printable Place Card
Could it get any easier with this simple wreath printable place card!? I cut a rectangle around the name and stuck it into a mini wreath I made from some Target Dollar Spot mini garland! Add a bow made from twine, and it’s such a simple way to set a place setting for winter or Christmas!
Flag Printable Place Card
Finally is the flag printable place cards. I LOVE these because they are unexpected and a bit whimsy! You can add them to anything as long as they can be wrapped around it! Basically, you can print the name on your paper and then cut it out in a long rectangle. Fold the rectangle in half and glue it together. Finally, make to cuts in the end to form a triangle! Easy peasy and it makes a little flag!
