A small white desk is the perfect way to create a tiny office nook in any room of your house! I’ve been looking for a small computer desk with drawers to put in my bedroom, because it’s about time that I stop working from my bed!

A Small White Desk for an Office Nook

Where do you work? Is it in an office? At home? We all work whether it is in an office or at home. We all work whether we are in charge of 50 adults or 2 little kiddos who are our flesh and blood. Nowadays, work includes having a computer no matter where you work or who you work for…even if your employees require you to feed them and wipe their tushies. I have been blogging for about a year and half, and I finally feel like it’s time for me to stop working out of my bed and start working from a desk!

I can’t even imagine what it must be like to type at my computer without getting a neck cramp!

I’ve thought long and hard about where to set up my desk, and I finally decided on my bedroom. I’ll be sharing more about why I chose my bedroom in an upcoming post! After deciding on the location of my soon to be office nook, I decided that I wanted a simple small white desk to put there! Just take a look at this adorable image below! Here is what I’m looking for in a small white desk:

White surface
Around 40 inches wide or smaller
Some storage (drawer, shelf, etc.)
Clean and simple lines
Inexpensive

White surface: I have plans to update my bedroom to make it much lighter and brighter. In keeping with that theme, I decided that a small white desk would work best for my new office nook.

Around 40 inches wide: I have about 40 inches to work with, but something smaller would be even better. My bedroom is not big, so everything needs to stay in those proportions!

Some storage: Like I mentioned above, my bedroom is small, so I’d like to have a little extra storage in the desk. I’m not being unrealistic. I know that a small desk is not going to have a ton of storage, but I’d be happy with anything!

Clean and simple lines: My style is hard to pin down, but I like classic pieces with a coastal touch. I lean a little more traditional, but prefer clean straight lines on my furniture.

Inexpensive: This soon-to-be office nook is a quick fix to a larger problem…more space! I really don’t know how long we will be in this house. I’m not actively looking to move, but you never know what might happen! That being said, I really don’t want to spend a lot of money on a desk. It also has to fit into this small area in our bedroom, and most likely will not be my forever desk.
